ABOUT US

Harold with some beautiful Cambodian children.

For the past 20 years, God has opened doors and created opportunities for me to give my energy and passion to Cambodia in an extremely impactful way with the help of many donors, supporters and prayer warriors.

In December 2019, I lost my 28-year-old son, Kyle, in a tragic car accident.  He was a great son, a U.S. Army veteran who served in Afghanistan, and he loved children, but he did not have his own yet. He looked forward to going to Cambodia with me as soon as his work schedule would allow.

Kyle's Kidz was formed on October 1, 2020, on what would have

been Kyle's 29th birthday, as an expanded continuation of my humanitarian efforts, in a way that honors Kyle and builds his legacy around our shared love of children and helping others. Now, with the help of everyone involved, many children and youth will become "Kyle's Kidz."

Thank you for your support and prayers.

I took my first mission trip in 2004 to Cambodia and it changed my life.  A simple thing happened on my first day in Cambodia. I saw these beautiful children with no hope or opportunity for anything to get better. Yes, they appeared happy and were friendly and polite, but they were so trapped in the poverty cycle, they were not aware there was any other way to live. Their parents and grandparents could not escape the multi-generational cycle either. They had no choice, no options and no hope. My heart was broken and crushed.

I remember this vividly, traveling on the way back from visiting the Killing Fields near Phnom Penh. I was sobbing and weeping on the outside and bawling like a baby on the inside. The people with me had no idea what was truly going on inside me and at that moment, I did not either. I just knew I could not return home from Cambodia and pretend like I had not seen ..."it" -- their lack of hope -- and continue living my life of unlimited opportunity.   I went home, but I did not and could not forget!
