Millions of children around the world live in a perpetual poverty cycle with no chance to escape. A five-year-old child is often in charge of her one-year-old sibling, while her seven-year-old brother is tending cattle in the field. The older siblings usually work with Mom and Dad in the rice fields. When the children are old enough they will have the option of working in a garment factory for about US$1 a day.  Eventually, they will be old enough to marry and start a family as the endless poverty cycle continues.
